Upscale your AI video to 4K. Free, on your own computer.

Veo, Flow, Kling and Runway clips come out at 720p or 1080p. Acuta takes the keepers to 4K in Chrome. Never uploaded, never metered.

Free, in Chrome or Edge. Nothing to install.

How it works

  1. Generate at 720p or 1080p

Pay the 4K rate for none of the takes you throw away.

  2. Drop in the keeper

Check three frames at actual pixels before anything renders.

  3. Export 4K

Your graphics card does the work. The file lands on your disk.

Why

  • Free

Cloud upscalers charge per minute after an upload. Your GPU costs nothing per second.

  • Private

The clip never leaves your machine. Every request this site makes is listed.

  • In your workflow

The Chrome extension picks the clip up from the page it was made on and queues a batch.

  • You judge it first

Model beside plain upscale, at actual pixels, on your footage, before export.

The Chrome extension

This page does the first 60 seconds of a clip. The extension does files up to 10 minutes, picks them up from the page, queues them, survives a closed tab, and takes MCP commands from an agent. Not in the store yet. Details.

Before you start

Built for short clips. A 30-second export takes at least 2½ minutes on an M3 Max, plugged in, a floor, not a promise. Plug in: on battery, Apple silicon runs roughly an order of magnitude slower.

It slightly over-sharpens the mid-tones on video, by 8–10%. That was measured, never resolved, and not investigated, and it can read as a synthetic crispness on skin and on gradients when you look closely on a big display. Nobody has run a review of how logos and small type come through it, so check your own in the preview before you sign off.

Images go through too, at exactly double the size. Quality was measured on video only, never on a still or on anything under 720 pixels on the short edge.
